Why do I need to be online?
Percentages
The percentage of people who use the internet to begin their search for a product or service is staggering. In some genres it’s upwards to 95%. Therefore, if you have 95 people in one room and 5 in another, which room would you rather do your sales pitch to?
Your Customers Expect It
In today’s business world, the internet is the fastest growing source for information. Without a web presence, your business risks never being found by prospective customers. Then again, I’m sure that 5% might find you.
Commitment to Quality
Your site speaks volumes about your business. It either says, “hey, we value our customers so much we had this information website made for them.” Or it says “we decided to cut corners and try to figure it out ourselves, good luck finding anything, but at least we saved a buck.”
To Level the Playing Field
Having a solid online presence enables you to directly compete with much larger companies when promoting your product or service. A well designed website gives a more professional and appealing image than a larger competitor with a weak or amateurish site. Bottom line is that another day you go without a website is another day of losing business. And if you’re going to do it, you might as well do it right.
